Dear IPFDB members,

I would like to inform you that the Indian Parliamentarians' Forum for Democracy in Burma (IPFDB) will convene “Burma update meeting” on 31 August 2011 at India International Centre (IIC).

The main aim of this meeting is to review our support for democracy movement in Burma as well as to strategize our actions to support Daw Aung San Suu Kyi in her effort for the national reconciliation and restoration of peace and human rights in our neighbouring country.

Burmese activists based in India and Thailand will be briefing us on the recent developments and political situation in Burma at the meeting. All the members of IPFDB are requested to join the meeting and dinner as per the schedule mentioned below.
